Inside welding projects....

Oh, what to do on a rainy day in Seattle?!? I've got a list a mile long and this is the perfect time to get things accomplished. I'll get back outdoors when the weather gets better. This weeks list includes a variety of items, including welding junction boxes and mounts, running electrical conduits and wire, maybe a couple of thru hull fittings and navigation wiring.

I moved the anti-siphon for the engine to a cenral location that will allow for some extra cabinet drawers under the nav station...yay! I'm doing my best to take advantage of all the space available and keep things highly functional.

Today, I took a day off so I could go to work. I guess that's kind of important! Tomorrow's plan includes fabricating a mount for a 12v cabin fan that will be tucked conveniently out of the way but accessible and easy to use at either the helm station or the nav station. I'll finish running 1/2" conduit for the salon lighting and start fabricating a mount for 2 inverters that will power all this stuff I'm wiring...

Dream it. Design it. Build it. A hobbyist at heart, I'm usually asked, "Wouldn't it be cheaper and easier to just buy that?!?". Sure, but then I wouldn't understand it and appreciate it like only a do-it-your-selfer can!
